The very foundation of Smile was laid on the realization of a group of young corporate professionals that it was their Social Responsibility to give back to the society. In partnership with many corporate bigwigs, it has brought a sea of change in the lives of more than 5,000 less privileged children and youth across 8 state In India, though corporate have a strong will to dedicate their resources for a social cause, they find it difficult to reach the right people considering the demography and diverse social problems of the country.
Too often in life, we wait around for someone else to instigate the changes we want to see. We doubt our own ability and become paralyzed to action, thinking either we are not solely capable of bringing the changes about, or that someone else will get around to it.But this inability to act alone is all in our head. Because history bears witness that the most extraordinary things were done by the most ordinary people.

Volunteers are the backbone of every organization – they not only carry the organization’s ideals within them, but also spread the message far and beyond, sensitizing the society towards the cause.
